Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
ReelsAiMaker is a free web application that lets TikTok users send videos from their device to their own
TikTok account. The data controller is Petr Solovarov, contact: petr.solovarov@gmail.com.
2. Data we process when you use the app
- TikTok profile basics (via
user.info.basic): your TikTok open_id, display name and
avatar URL — to show which account you are signed in with and to keep your data separate from other users.
- TikTok access and refresh tokens — issued by TikTok when you sign in, stored encrypted, used only
to perform the uploads you request. We never receive your TikTok password.
- Video files you choose — stored temporarily on our server only while they are being uploaded to
TikTok (via
video.publish or video.upload) and deleted immediately afterwards.
- Post settings — the caption, privacy level, interaction and disclosure settings you choose for a
direct post; sent to TikTok with the video and not stored afterwards.
- Upload history — file name, size, time, TikTok publish ID and status, so you can track your uploads.
- Session cookie — a random identifier that keeps you signed in (a strictly necessary cookie; no
advertising or analytics cookies are used).
- Technical logs — time of operations and errors, without video content.
3. How we use it
Only to provide the service you request: sign you in, show your profile, upload your videos to your TikTok
account and show their status. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not
use your videos or TikTok data to train machine-learning models.
4. Sharing
Video files and API requests are sent only to TikTok (TikTok Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates), through TikTok's
official APIs, when you ask us to. Our server is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Finland, EU). We do not share
your data with anyone else, except where required by law.
5. Retention
- Video files: deleted as soon as the upload to TikTok finishes (or fails); leftovers are purged within 24 hours.
- Upload history: 30 days.
- Sessions: until you log out, at most 30 days.
- Profile and tokens: until you disconnect; accounts inactive for 90 days are deleted automatically.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days.
6. Your choices and rights
Press “Disconnect & delete my data” in the app: we revoke our access token at TikTok and
immediately delete your profile, tokens, sessions and upload history. You can also revoke access in TikTok
(Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services). You may request access to, a copy or deletion of
your data at petr.solovarov@gmail.com; we respond within 30 days. See Data deletion.
7. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Tokens are encrypted at rest; data is stored on a dedicated server with access
restricted to the operator. Each user can access only their own account data and uploads.
8. Other features of the operator's publishing tools
The operator also uses ReelsAiMaker's tools to publish videos to the operator's own YouTube and Instagram
accounts and to reply to people who ask for materials with a code word in comments under those videos
(a reply to the comment and, on Instagram, one Direct message with the requested link). For this, the
comment ID, author's username, comment text and time and the fact that a reply was sent are stored for up to
120 days and are not shared. Transcripts of the operator's own videos may be sent to the Google Gemini API to
draft titles. YouTube data is handled under the
YouTube Terms of Service and the
Google Privacy Policy.
9. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
